Cow Island Day Camp

Summer 2026 Registration is Open!

June 29th to Aug 7th, 2026

Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

Our goal: To create community and build strong friendships across our big lake, rooted in our shared love of nature.

Why Camp?

  • For the comfort and pleasure of knowing your child is developing social skills, learning to make new friends, and interacting with diverse group of children.

  • The sheer happiness that your child is completely separated from screen time.

  • Curriculum developed by an educator – your child will participate in carefully crafted activities intended to foster learning and curiosity. This includes highly relevant topics related to our lake environment and lake safety.

  • On our island, your child will truly connect with nature through lead activities and in free play.

  • Summer camp is renowned for helping children foster self-confidence and build resilience.

  • You get 3.5 hours of bliss and freedom (we are all parents & grandparents, we get it).

  • We work around your schedule. Sign up for a week, or multiple weeks.

“Camp offers a crash course on meeting new people, helping children build social skills, explore their independence and improve their self esteem.”

— Stephen Fine, Research Chair for the Ontario Camps Association
